Confederation of Central
Government Gazetted Officers’ Organisations (CCGGOO) appeals to the Honourable
Finance Minister, Shri. Arun Jaitley to increase personal Income Tax exemption
limit in the Budget for 2017-18.
CCGGOO seeks
Raise in the current
basic exemption limit From Rs.2.5 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs.
Change in tax slabs.
Raise exemption limit
for allowances.
Exemption of Dearness
Allowance from Income.
Increase in the
deduction under Section 80C.
Restoration of
deduction for investment in infrastructure bonds.
Improvement in
incentives for NPS investment.
Introduce interest
subvention on housing loans.
